Priority First Federal Credit Union was founded and organized in 1969 as Brockway Glass Federal Credit Union. The business developed from humble beginnings in the home of former CEO Curt Chamberlin. From there the credit union continued to grow and in 1978 the business was moved to the current location at 550 Main Street, Brockway, PA. Then in 1999 a branch office was added in Brookville.

In 2003, the credit union had two important changes. First, the credit union was granted a community charter to serve all of Jefferson County. The second was a name change to Priority First Federal Credit Union. Four years later, in 2007, the DuBois Office was opened and a community charter was granted to serve all of Clearfield County. In July 2007, Secure Federal Credit Union merged with Priority First Federal Credit Union. Today, the credit union has 6,650 members and assets of $42M.

Diane Kendrick, CEO said, “The new facility will enable us to deliver more products and services to our Clearfield County members”. Kendrick noted that construction should be finished in the spring of 2010.

The Board of Directors of Priority First Federal Credit Union are pleased to announce plans to expand their DuBois operation. A new office is being built on Midway Drive in DuBois. The facility will consist of a 2 story brick building and offer 2 drive-up lanes, an ATM and plenty of parking. KTH Architects, Inc. of DuBois, PA designed the facility. Construction has been contracted with Daghir Construction, Inc., St. Marys, PA.
